Celebrating 1 week

Last night we celebrated Alexandra's 1 week birthday. The boys helped their Grandma Doll make cupcakes for the "party." Alexandra was kind of a party pooper - enjoying her beauty sleep more than the party - but the boys were excited to celebrate and eat their cupcakes.

Meet Alexandra!!

Tim surprised me on Valentines Day by taking me to a 3-D ultrasound place to see our baby. It was the best gift ever! We can't wait until she is here but we will admire these pictures while we are waiting. These pictures are AWESOME!!
Tim calls her our "American Idol" baby. (The bottom picture.)

I have the best friends in the world!

I just need to say that I have some of the best friends in the world. Yesterday April and Naomi and Linda planned and gave me the best baby shower. From the invitations to the food to the games to EVERYONE who came - I felt truly blessed and loved. My friends are the greatest and I don't know if I could make it with out you some days. And a huge THANK YOU to everyone who filled up my house with so many PINK clothes and other much needed baby supplies.

Kids say the most funniest and most innocent things

My mom is always saying you need to write down all the funny things that the boys say or you will forget them. So here is the most recent one from Miles.

We had toilet trouble last week and Tim had to run to Home Depot for a new part. While he was out he went over to Taco Bell for a late snack. He brought me home a Carmel Apple Empanada. He didn't bring the boys home anything since it was almost bedtime. Yet the boys wanted something to eat since it was from Taco Bell. They wanted to know what my treat was. We told them it was an empanada but I was unwilling to share because I am the mom and pregnant.

A few days later we were all in the car and Miles asks Tim "What was that special treat you gave mom in bed the other night?" Tim and I looked at each other and tried not to laugh -- but we were also trying to figure out what in the world he was talking about. After a few minutes we figured out he was asking about the empanada -- and nothing else (thank goodness!)
